Our History

Kerry and Pat are seasoned tax and business professionals who are ready to handle your tax, bookkeeping, and payroll needs.

Kerry

Starting as a young adult, Kerry worked for a family run farm for 15 years, learning the ins and outs of running a business, bookkeeping and tax consequences.  Kerry worked for a national tax preparation company from 2007-2015 while also operating a garden scaping business.  From 2016 to 2021, Kerry worked at a wealth management firm and attained the status of Enrolled Agent in 2018.  In 2022, Kerry graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a concentration in financial planning. Kerry is excited to be back in the business community to help the Upper Valley with their tax and business needs.

Pat

After graduating from UVM with a business degree, Pat entered the workforce in the Upper Valley making lifelong relationships in the business community.  In 2009, Pat opened The Snack Bar at the Gorge, which operates seasonally in Quechee from late spring until late fall.  Pat worked for a national tax preparations company from 2010 through 2021 in the winters, expanding her community engagement. With opening The Mainstreet Tax Group, Pat is ready to continue sharing her expertise in tax and business matters with the Upper Valley community.
